More than 100 personal works for art by DreamWorks Animation Production Designers, Art Directors, Character Designers, and Visual Development Artists on display at Gallery Nucleus

GLENDALE, Calif., August 13, 2010 —
DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (Nasdaq: DWA) today announced an opening night celebration at Gallery Nucleus to honor individual artists contributions for the first of its kind art book Moonshine.
Moonshine is the first published work featuring personal artwork from 49 talented and prolific DreamWorks Animation Art Directors, Character Designers, Production Designers, and Visual Development Artists. The exhibition will be featured in Gallery Nucleus, located at 210 East Main Street in Alhambra, California from Saturday, August 14th– Monday, September 6th.
Moonshine is 128 pages, and retails for $19.95. It features personal artwork made after hours when contributors are not working on stunning upcoming movies and TV specials such as Shrek Forever After, Megamind, Kung Fu Panda 2, Puss in Boots, The Croods, The Guardians, Scared Shrekless, and Kung Fu Panda Holiday.
DreamWorks Animation artists featured in this book have worked on many blockbuster films including How to Train Your Dragon, Monsters vs. Aliens, Kung Fu Panda, Bee Movie, Prince of Egypt, Shark Tale and Flushed Away to name only a few. Many of the contributing artists have been nominated for an Annie Award, the highest honor given for excellence in animation chosen by a nominating committee appointed by the Board of Directors of ASIFA-Hollywood (ASIFA is a French acronym “Association Internationale du Film D’Animation).
The opening reception is on Saturday, August 14th (7:00-11:00pm). Admission is $2.00 and includes complimentary refreshments and moonshine, plus one raffle ticket for the evening’s big prize—a piece of original art and a tour of DreamWorks Animation Studio in Glendale, California for four people. Guests will also be able to pre-order Moonshine on opening night and receive a 10% discount.
The closing reception on Friday, September 3rd (7:00-10:00pm), will also include a book signing.
